Rapha Leadership Academy - Curriculum

At Rapha Leadership Academy, we believe that education should not only sharpen the mind but also shape the heart. Our academic instruction is rooted in Biblical truth and built to support each child’s spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth. We have prayerfully chosen Christian, high-quality curriculum resources that promote excellence in both academics and character development—because your child deserves the very best in both.

Bible

Students explore stories from the Old and New Testaments, learning about God’s character and how to live like Jesus. Weekly Chapel services and service projects provide opportunities to grow spiritually and live out their faith. We emphasize the RLA Principles: God, Identity, Relationship, and Responsibility.

Language Arts

Students build strong reading and writing skills through phonics, high-frequency words, partner reading, storytelling, and weekly writing. Lessons include rhyming, sound blending, word building, and early grammar. Reading topics often tie into science and real-world themes for deeper understanding.

Math

Math is taught using hands-on tools, group collaboration, and real-world applications. Students explore number sense, patterns, and basic operations through engaging activities that help them understand how God brings order and logic to the world.

Science

Through interactive lessons and hands-on experiments, students explore topics such as space, weather, plants, animals, energy, and motion. These lessons are designed to spark curiosity and wonder, helping students see the beauty and purpose in the world around them.

Social Studies

Students learn about families, communities, maps, holidays, timelines, and the roles people play in society. Projects like the First Thanksgiving play and “Star Student Week” help children connect personally with what they learn, while the RLA Principles of Relationship and Responsibility are reinforced throughout.

Art, Music, PE & Library ("Specials")

Each week, students take part in Art, Music, Physical Education, and Library. These creative and active classes help students explore their talents, express themselves, and build skills that support learning across all subjects.
